The bibliographic information, comprising author, title, subjects, page count, edition, volume number, availability, list price, and other information about the book itself is licensed under contract with Baker & Taylor. Book pricing from each store - and the title and list price for titles that are not found in Baker & Taylor's extensive in-print and out-of-print database - are retrieved directly from each bookstore with their permission. No title's price is retrieved more frequently than once in 24 hours to reduce operational stress on the bookstores with which isbn.nu partners. Errors in pricing at those bookstores should be reported directly to the stores via their Help Desk or Customer Service addresses.

isbn.nu also licenses under contract with Baker & Taylor tables of content listing the chapter and part titles of many books, and brief annotations summarizing the content of books.

Baker & Taylor supplies regular updates, including corrections, which isbn.nu integrates into its online search and results information. If you are a publisher or author and find an error in the information found on isbn.nu, you may contact Baker & Taylor's correction email address directly at datafix@btol.com. Corrections are typically made within a week, and appear on isbn.nu within two to four weeks.

Because isbn.nu is an ecommerce site that helps readers quickly find titles they're interested in at the best price via online bookstores, we do not consider ourselves a definitive source of book information, and we disclaim all warranties for the information we display (see below).
